The sponsorship program of HIM was started after a group of team members spent some time in the Japon Refugee Community near Choloma, Honduras.

The needs are so great for the 300 (+) kids in this area. Many of these children don’t have beds in which to sleep. Because certain documents are needed to get into school, and the cost for these is more than many families can afford, education for a lot of these kids is only a dream. There is a huge problem with respiratory infections and malnutrition; and health care is a challenge.

Please consider becoming a partner with us, as we strive to bring these precious kids the very basic necessities of life. Your monthly payments will go directly to help these kids with medical care, food, and education. Sponsors receive periodic updates on their sponsored children/families, including photographs, letters, etc. For more information on sponsoring a child/family contact Hands in Mission at info@handsinmission.org
